The pseudonym is not concealment — it's posture. As long as stewardship is a seat to be occupied, it's better that it doesn't rest on a face. My first name will follow the moment Genesis is shown publicly — not before.

Before ORÆ I built several things in domains that have nothing to do with each other: a project around archives, an event experiment, a wider portfolio. None of them were products. All were attempts to build what I wanted to read or use and couldn't find. ORÆ is the same impulse, at a heavier scale.

The question that brought me here turned out to be much denser than I expected: not how to build these systems — a great many people are working on that, with far more means than I will ever have — but what we should want from them, what they cost us, and who actually gets a say. That question is less crowded, and it doesn't require a laboratory to work on.

I'm not building an AI, and I'm not in a position to tell anyone how to build one. I'm reading, thinking and writing in public about something that is going to shape most of our lives. It is deliberately slow, deliberately honest about what it doesn't know, and it will change as I learn. Nothing here is a rule — everything here is an argument you're welcome to break.

Le pseudonyme n'est pas une dissimulation : c'est une posture. Tant que la stewardship est un poste à occuper, il vaut mieux qu'elle ne dépende pas d'un visage. Mon prénom suivra le moment où Genesis sera montré publiquement — pas avant.

Avant ORÆ, j'ai construit plusieurs choses dans des domaines qui n'ont rien à voir entre eux : un travail autour des archives, une expérimentation d'événement, un portfolio plus large. Aucune n'était un produit. Toutes étaient des tentatives de fabriquer ce que je voulais lire ou utiliser et qui n'existait pas encore. ORÆ est la même impulsion, à une échelle plus lourde.

La question qui m'a amené ici est devenue beaucoup plus dense que prévu : non pas comment construire ces systèmes — beaucoup de gens s'en chargent, avec bien plus de moyens que je n'en aurai jamais — mais ce qu'on devrait en attendre, ce qu'ils nous coûtent, et qui a réellement voix au chapitre. Cette question-là est moins encombrée, et elle ne demande pas de laboratoire.

Je ne construis pas d'IA, et je ne suis pas en position d'expliquer à quiconque comment en construire une. Je lis, je réfléchis et j'écris en public sur quelque chose qui va façonner la plupart de nos vies. C'est volontairement lent, volontairement honnête sur ce que j'ignore, et ça changera à mesure que j'apprends. Rien ici n'est une règle — tout ici est un argument que tu peux démonter.
